Stability
Stability or emotional health is about how balanced and confident you feel psychologically. Your overall psychological well being including the way you feel about yourself, the quality of your relationships, your ability to manage your feelings and deal with difficulties require having positive attributes in life such as enthusiasm, boosting your mood, building your resilience and being able to laugh and have fun even when facing adversities. These positive attributes require some investment of time and effort just as you will invest in your physical health to maintain it and make it stronger. It is important to learn how to handle your emotions positively by learning to appropriately express how you feel to others as keeping feelings of anger or sadness within you takes extra energy.
Give yourself time to think before you act, react or say anything and be mindful of getting carried away by your emotions as emotions can be powerful. Taking good care of your physical health by regularly exercising, having your healthy intake and getting enough sleep can positively affect your emotional health. Make time for things you enjoy, be optimistic, focus on positive things and endeavour to have stability in your life. The more you practice managing your emotions, the more confident, resilient, and in control you will be of your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
